Default Should I buy out the lease on my 2003 Audi All Road Quattro?

My lease is coming up and I'm trying to evaluate whether it's worth buying out or should I look at getting rid of it. I love the car but hate the gas mileage and they've discontinued this line. I'm thinking about a hybrid. I'd love to hear from some really savvy auto folks.

Well I would probably go with an Audi that gets better gas mileage, gas prices are continually rising, and don't seem they will be falling any time soon. I drive a 1995 BMW 540i with a 4.0L V8 engine, it gets O.K. gas mileage, but I like to use the power every once in awhile so I couldn't settle for a four banger, but if you don't use the power that much, get something the sips the gas.

If you have a lease in which you have a certain amount of miles per year and went over, definitely buy it out, then you could just sell it and possibly make a profit instead of just handing it back over to the car dealership and walking away with nothing. As far as buying a hybrid goes, I don't think it's worth it yet. On average, you are paying about $5,000 more for a hybrid model over a regular model, and it really only gets 10 or so miles per gallon more than an average compact car, like a honda civic, toyota corolla, etc.
