toyota or gmc?

i was sent an offer in the mail, to have toyota buy back my 2006 camry se at full retail. i was considering getting a new car anyway but dont know what to get. i have narrowed it down to a highlander hybrid or a gmc acadia, but dont know which one to get. the offer from toyota is only good at my toyota dealer, i can most likely get an acadia for a lower price than a highlander, can someone please help me.thanks but i think i might just wait until summer when i can get a better deal on either vehicle

Well, both are good cars.My personal choice would be the Acadia.I don't know if you've been inside both, but the Acadia's third row seat is much more usable and the interior of the Acadia in general is very roomy and well put-together.However, it still manages to get the same fuel economy as the regular Highlander.The Highlander hybrid gets 6 mpg better on average.This saves you $350 a year assuming you drive 10,000 miles annually, so that will make up for some of the cost difference. But in the long run, the hybrid will always cost more because of the added maintenance. (batteries, etc.)So it comes down to a matter of:Space and monetary benefits of the Acadiaor environmental benefits of the HighlanderAnd if you get the Highlander remember to change the oil every 3,000 like clockwork because those engines sludge easily and get ruined quick.Good luck!BTW:The Acadia has 70 more horsepower than the Highlander HybridThe Acadia gets slightly better crash test ratings than the Highlander

Toyota has crazy good reliability, great gas mileage, high horsepower and torque per engine liter, high resale value, safety, and looks. What does the Acadia have?

the toyota highlander 100%!!! the redesign suv looks really good and toyota have gmc beat in the quality and value of cars. toyota beating GM in car sales and about to move to the number 1 automaker in the world. go with toyota
