Default need help deciding which car to buy?

i probably won't even buy the car until 2010 or 2011 but i know it will be a used car (lower prices, lower insurance etc) i've narrowed my choices down to:2008 Honda Accord Coupe2008 Saturn Aura Hybrid Greenline2008 Ford Fusion2008 Toyota Camry2008 Hyundai SonataWhat i'm looking for in my car:Good gas mileage Decent price (nothing over 22,000 by the time i get it)Safety features (airbags, traction+stability control+abs breaks)AWD if i can get itA fun sporty looking car Anyways with all that in mind my choice is the Accord but maybe there are some other options?*My other choice was the fusion but it doesn't have stability control. ... To be honest i don't even know what the traction and stability control are so.. if someone could explain it tome it would help me to know if i need it or not.by the time i get the car the price will go down so i'm sure i'll be able to afford the honda accord coupe even if it will take me a little while longer to get. I was just in an accident so all those safety features are pretty important to me.Just wondering though, is there any car that as AWD and all the safety features?

if you want AWD you'll need a Ford Fusion. Stability control keeps the car on the road when you go around a corner too fast and traction control keeps you from doing burnouts. You might also look at a 1999 Mitsubishi 3000gt although it only has seats for 2 adults and 2 midgets. but it is a fun sporty car. vr4 has AWD don't need traction control and doesn't have stability control though.

It's good that you are thinking ahead, but 2010 or 2011 is a long way off. Keep an open mind. When I was looking for vehicles in 2002/2003 I was pricing out 3/4 tonne cargo vans and pickups with diesel engines to accommodate what then appeared to be my career path. Well, life took a different path and I now drive a 2004 Subaru Forester. It's the perfect vehicle for my needs and driving patterns. Getting the van or truck would have made sense then, but would be a horrible mistake now. I'd recommend the Subaru Impreza (sp? - small car) line for AWD, fuel mileage, sporty looks/handling, and mechanical reliability. As for traction and stability control: they are nice safety features, but they ARE NOT 4x4. You won't pull yourself out of a swamp. Those systems should be a secondary consideration, but not a primary selling point. A good, safe driver does not need those systems. You need to buy the vehicle that best meets your needs, otherwise you'll be sorry.

You can forget the Accord Coupe. Too expensive. Same with the Saturn Hybrid. The only car with AWD is the Fusion and it's over $24,000. You can buy a Camry, Sonata or FWD Fusion for under $22k but they will be basic no frills cars with few options. Of those the Ford is the best bet. Just today Consumer Reports listed the Ford Fusion one of the most reliable cars sold in America. Better than the Camry or Accord.

The Fusion is purely the best of them all. It has best in class AWD, handling, and styling. It is the safest, along with the Accord, vehicle in its class. It features a uni-body frame construction that throws the absorbed energy over the passengers and the inside of the vehicle. It also has a Standard Personal Safety System which is an electronically controled safety system. Check out the specs, pictures, and optinos here: http://www.fordvehicles.com/cars/fusion/ The safety features are right below the picture.
