I LOVE my new Prius, but havent driven the cars you mentioned to compare. Drive a Prius, see how you like it.

it really depends. of course, the camry is larger, and probably has a bigger engine. the civic on the other hand is more or less a car made for the city. if you have kids and you usuallly have to carry them around, i would suggest the camry. for regular drives to work, the civic. also, the prius isn't too bad.

Toyota Camry, my friend has it and loves it. I like to drive it to, soooo smooth. Great on mpg and its way sleeker than a Honda Civic. Not to mention Toyota has better service plans than Honda.

Honda Civic. Honda made the first hybrid.(Honda Insight). The Honda Civic is the most reliable car in the world. It gets almost 10mpg better than the hybrid Camry since the Civic is smaller, lighter, and has a smaller engine. The 2001-2004 Honda Insight is the best hybrid. 60mpg city, 66 highway, but it is also the smallest. The Toyota Prius is another good choice. There is also the 2006-2007 Honda Accord Hybrid and Saturn Aura and 09 Nissan Altima Hybrids.

The best hybrid (and car in general) is the Prius. It sells about 5 times more models than the second-best, the Honda Civic hybrid. Basically people who think the Prius is ugly buy the Civic hybrid. Both get comparable mileage (Prius is better in the city, they're equal on the highway), but the Prius is much roomier and has better features (such as a dashboard computer). The Camry hybrid is a 'performance hybrid', meaning it uses some of the hybrid system to increase power rather than fuel efficiency. Thus it doesn't get great mileage, but is more powerful than the Civic or Prius. It's also the most expensive of the three.A comparison of the 3 is linked below. I would suggest test driving all three, but personally I think the Prius is hands-down the best.
